The "social media" revolution has come to fruition. There are extraordinary ways of staying connected, meeting and learning. The internet is a powerful tool for marketing yourself and your brand, not to mention putting out your message, reaching people and literally changing the world. I followed a fantastic conversation today about the power of social media content. The bottom line is this:

**Decide what position you take in this world- What is your stand?

**Represent it well.

**Encourage people, provide recommendations and offer solutions.

If you use media content to connect with others, watch first, then when participating, give AND take. Offer what you have to offer.

As a Good Global Citizen we are here to empower others. We should share our knowledge to empower others. There's a strong link between us all and it just takes a small gesture of kindness to change the world for others.

Life is not a spectator sport. Are you active or passive? Do you give to others as much as you take? Feel free (it's EXPECTED) to take advantage of the opportunities out there. Ask for help. And give back.
